Workers should speak English

Dear Editor:Kudos to Aspen Valley Hospital and big non-kudos to politically correct CEO Dave Ressler who said, “What happens if there’s a fire in the hospital? We need to be able to communicate with all our employees.” Remember Mr. Ressler, most Americans can hable pequeño español y pueda decir “el fuego, el apuro.”Per the United States government, in order to be naturalized here, a person must meet certain requirements. One of them is this: Be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English. And Señor Juan A. Rios, if you could speak even broken, not just basic, English, you wouldn’t need an interpreter at all. Marty LichGypsum
