Woman found dead in Aspen

ASPEN – Aspen police are investigating the unattended death of a longtime Aspen resident.

Rachel Ortega, 34, was found dead at 501 W. Main St. in Aspen. Police received a call around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

The cause of death was not immediately known. An autopsy is pending.
