Wisconsin senator to speak Tuesday at Aspen Institute
Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., is the featured speaker Tuesday at the Aspen Institute Hurst Lecture Series. The event is set from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Paepcke Auditorium on the institute’s Aspen Meadows campus.
Johnson will discuss the country’s major fiscal challenges and will outline a 30-year budget projection and walk through an analysis of the nation’s current fiscal scenario, the institute said.
Johnson serves on the committees on budget, commerce, science and transportation, foreign relations, homeland security and governmental affairs, and small business and entrepreneurship.
Tickets are $20 each and are on sale through Aspen Show Tickets at http://www.aspenshow tix.com, at 970-920-5770 or at the Wheeler Opera House. Doors will open 45 minutes prior to the start of the event, and unclaimed tickets will be on sale at the door.

Big game amendment looks to limit energy industry’s impacts on elk, mule deer and pronghorn
