Wining & dining
Aspen was a flutter last weekend for the 25th Annual Food & Wine Classic at Aspen, which took over the town’s hotels, restaurants and bars for seminars, tastings and special events.
Celebrity chefs including Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay and Jacques Pepin returned for the highly acclaimed annual event.
The media took advantage of the golden opportunity to cover the event’s silver anniversary celebration. The Classic caught the nation’s attention on “Good Morning America” as it kicked off with a bang with the burger cook-off between chefs Emeril Lagasse and Mario Batali early Friday morning. Travel editor Peter Greenberg of NBC’s “Today” show was also on site to film several segments of the event’s silver anniversary celebration.
Stay tuned for more photos and details from the fabulous event weekend next week …
