The Aspen Patrol & Detective Agency security guard who was arrested March 6 for window peeping was sentenced to serve five days in jail and pay a $750 fine in municipal court Wednesday.Robby Casper, 29, pleaded guilty to the peeping charge Wednesday morning, and Judge Brook Peterson proceeded directly to sentencing. Casper was also ordered to pay $25 in court costs.Casper will be allowed to serve the five days in Pitkin County Jail on weekends, so he may continue to work, according to David Hoefer, assistant county attorney.”The judge wasn’t very happy with this guy,” Hoefer said. “It’s as stiff a sentence as I’ve ever seen in muni court.”Hoefer said the woman who caught Casper watching her through a window was in court Wednesday.”She is satisfied with the result,” he said.Aspen police arrested Casper at about 4 a.m. on March 6. The victim had arisen early that morning and before she dressed, she noticed Casper looking through the window of her east end home. She immediately called police, and by tracking his footprints through the snow, she and police were able to catch him.
