Williams and Volf
Basalt residents Sarah Williams and Mark Volf will marry on Wednesday, July 4, at the Maroon Bells.
Williams is the daughter of Margaret and Geoff Williams of North Wales, U.K.; Volf is the son of Joan and Maylon Volf of Phillips, Neb. The couple met in the Roaring Fork Valley. Williams moved here in October 2001 to work for Challenge Aspen, where she is now managing program director. Mark moved to the area approximately six months earlier.
The ceremony will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Gregg Anderson. Miss Jane Wraith will be the maid of honor; Ms. Ashton Steckelberg will be the flower girl; and Mr. Allen Kukla will be the best man. In addition to their families, the couple will be joined by many local friends and out-of-town guests. The reception will be held at the Sky Hotel in Aspen.A reception in Wales will be held in the fall for the bride’s family and friends, and a honeymoon will follow.
