Why so camera shy?
Aspen
In response to Jerry Begly’s letter “RFTA has new meaning,” I submit he has more to worry about than just bus surveillance cameras.
What if someone on the bus turns around and snaps his picture with their cell “camera phone” and sends it anywhere they want? What about privacy with the millions of “camera phones” in circulation?
Besides, what could he possibly be doing on the bus that makes him fear the camera? If RFTA wants to record me riding down the road reading the newspaper, for 24 hours straight, then more power to them. As I understand it, the bus cameras are to protect drivers and to catch troublemakers. I’m not “camera shy.” Welcome to the 21st century.
