Who got the money, and how much?

Let me see if I understand how this public hospital works. The taxpayers pay the bills, the doctors rake off the big bucks with little or no overhead, and if a taxpayer wants to use the hospital, he better have insurance or he’s going to the poor house?

Sounds a bit like these formerly public radio stations. Entrepreneurs hijack the operation, start paying themselves salaries and have to sell ads to keep up with the ever-increasing expenses. I used to support public radio, but these days they have as many ads as the commercial stations so I figure, let the advertisers pay for it.

Instead of self-serving statements from the people who spent the money, maybe some of your crack investigative reporters could do a little research and let us know who got the money and how much.
