Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Whiting of Glenwood Springs are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda, to Dillon Johnson, son of Dan and Karen Johnson of Basalt.

Amanda is a 2004 graduate of Glenwood Springs High School and Dillon is a 2004 graduate of Basalt High School. An August wedding is planned.

Amanda currently is a grad student at CU Denver and teaches architecture at CU Boulder; she also works at OZ Architecture in Boulder. Dillon is the senior supervisor of the Athletic Club and Spa at the Snowmass Club.
