Which side of Independence Pass do you prefer – the Aspen side or the Twin Lakes side?

I was just over on the Twin Lakes side … maybe that side. It’s a little different. Mount Elbert’s over there; the mountains get a little bigger.

The Aspen side. I think it’s beautiful all over Independence Pass, but I do like the town on this side. I’d rather live in Aspen than Twin Lakes.

The Aspen side, because Aspen is there, and all of the great people, and the great restaurants and the skiing.

The Aspen side. I’m a biker rider and it’s a better quality road. The scenery is equal on both sides, but the biking is better on this side.

I’d have to say this side, because I live here, for one, and I just think it’s prettier on this side. But I do like skiing Mountain Boy on the Twin Lakes side.

Aspen – ’cause I live here.
