Where’s the enforcement?
It has become increasingly difficult to find parking spaces at some of the RFTA lots along Highway 82. There has been a simultaneous proliferation of parked vehicles with for-sale signs at these lots, despite the RFTA signs forbidding this and stating that such vehicles would be immediately towed. In contacting the facilities department at RFTA, I was told by the gentleman I spoke with that RFTA was well aware of the problem but that their hands were tied since it was up to the Colorado Highway Patrol to enforce this law. I am curious why the highway patrol is not doing so.
