Where are their priorities?

Forty-two million Americans are without health insurance. Five hundred fifty-five GIs have died in Iraq. The planet is melting. Israel is wrapping Palestine in barbed wire. White collar jobs are disappearing to India. Latin American laborers are dominating the blue collar work force. Five of the top 10 richest people in the world are named Walton ” as in Wal-Mart, bankrupters of hardware stores and grocery markets everywhere. In response to these pressing issues, George Bush is backing a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage and Congress is holding hearings as to whether or no Bubba the Love Sponge’s radio show is obscene. Get a grip.
