When does it all end?

I have noticed that all branches of government are addicted to our money. The latest irrational proposal comes from a school district that just passed a huge bond issue. RE-2 now wants another $4 million of your money, they are calling a “tax override.”

This school district is experiencing rocketing property-tax revenue from all the new construction in the Silt/New Castle area. Both parents in a home are now working to pay the present tax load.

All-day kindergarten and before and after school programs just mean less parental control and more governmental control of the kids, which parents must work harder to pay for.

When does it all end? Doesn’t any government agency know how to control spending? Remember when one job could support a household?

It won’t stop until we learn to vote NO, and replace the government school officials with people who realize for whom they really work. A new cry should fill the air, “Vote no. Give us our freedom!”
