What does Memorial Day mean to you?

It makes me remember all of our troops and makes me think not only of what’s going on now, but my grandfather who fought in World War II.

Just a time of the year that you remember the veterans. My father was a Vietnam vet, so I think of him.

It’s a day off work.

Just remembering the soldiers who fought for our country. My grandpa fought in the Korean War and my cousin is in Iraq right now.

It’s about honoring all of our veterans of war – and it’s a free day off work.

It’s supposed to be the day you remember those who have passed before you. You visit the cemetery and reflect on the meaning they had in your life.
