What are you doing?

This is a message to the women who are on a crusade to oust Tom Farrell.
Ladies, I am a longtime resident and a mother of six. Three of my children have graduated from Aspen High School with honors, and my fourth child, the valedictorian, is preparing to graduate on May 25. (I strongly urge you to attend this graduation and observe the love and synergy between Tom Farrell and the students.)
My two youngest children are in the midst of receiving their education from the Aspen School District. I am most concerned with these children, and fear for the future of their education without the supervision of Tom Farrell.
My question to these women is this: WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Why are you trying to depose the best superintendent that Aspen schools have ever had?
Surely you wouldn’t want to drive away the man who changed the reputation of Aspen’s students from “partiers” to athletes and exemplary pupils. Aspen has the best schools, elementary through high school, in the state.
Tom encourages the students to meet standards well above the state’s expectations, and the children accomplish these goals not only in school, but in athletics as well. Why would you want to meddle in this exceptional process? Do you even know anything about the accomplishments of current students and graduates under Mr. Farrell’s direction?

Please direct your anger, power, energy and lawyers to another project. May I suggest the appallingly hideous employee housing which has been built on our beautiful golf course?
If you and your lawyers could manage an improvement attack on that misbegotten development, you would be the heroes of this town, rather than the villains.
