We’re doing something right
Dear Editor:This is in response to Sophia Pinella’s letter (The Aspen Times, July 15) about the service at The Big Wrap. Sophia has the right idea. As I like to say, “vote with your dollar.” If I do not like the service, food or owner of a particular restaurant or shop, I don’t go there.My problem with Sophia’s letter is the way she attacks my staff. If she has not been here for “ages,” how would she know what the service is like? Erin from Superior, whose letter (The Aspen Times, July 12) Sophia was responding to, did not receive rude service because “she asked for rice nicely.” I think we can all fill in the blanks on that one.In the opinion of the many customers who comment daily, the employees of the Big Wrap are hardworking, efficient and friendly.It is obvious to me by the line that stretches on to the sidewalk, the amount of repeat customers both local and visiting, the number of requests to franchise the business, the amount of positive press both local and national, and most of all the 9 1/2 years of running one of the most successful businesses in Aspen: WE MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT!!!!Thanks to all our regular and new customers, who support and appreciate what we do and how we do it.Barbara MenendezOwner, The Big Wrap
