Welcome to the Hotel City Council

Dear Editor:

So, the Aspen City Council is considering buying the Mountain House for public “lodging.” The city of Aspen in the hospitality and property management business … yeah, that’ll work.

Could our council possibly take a look at the lodging occupancy rates for the past couple of years? I believe it’s worse than our snowpack percentage.
