Weekly Journal for the week of June 27

So, tell me…. where is Saddam?

And, tell me… whatever happened to America’s unbreakable promise to stick with and rebuild Afghanistan? Twice in the last 16 years.

And tell me, is America being told (as reported extensively in the rest of the world) that the torture in Abu Ghraib prison is part of a pattern in all American controlled prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as Guantanamo Bay?

And were you told that when America established the “Terrorist” prison at Gitmo that it publicly said it would not abide by the 150 year old Geneva Convention for prisoners of war, and again stated that it did not abide by them in Iraqi prisons.

And have they told you that the official count of Iraqi civilians killed during and since the war, by coalition forces, is now 15,000. Yep. We did 5 Twin Towers to them to free them. Lucky bastards.

I recommend that you watch – maybe again – “Apocalypse Now” which since being made is really a political primer into the realities of American foreign policy. Ah, the horror.
