Weekly Journal for the week of January 16

Weekly Journal for the week of January 16Bill Clinton and Bush Senior together raising money for tsunami relief. The Prez telling actually funny jokes (I enjoyed being in Canada with all the people waving – with five fingers…). Serious criticism of the war, of the nominee for Attorney General, the media actually reporting behind the scenes government tricks (paying media pundits a LOT of money to promote their agenda)… good lord, what is happening?I smell the first hints of some maturity and healing happening in America as a result of the catastrophe in South East Asia and the subcontinent (India/Sri Lanka). Could it be that they are seeing the issues and problems in a new light in view of the REAL problems confronted after the big wave? And on a personal note I have had two great things happen this week. First, my astrology will now run in The Aspen Times 7 days a week instead of five, and next month I have a 6 page Special Feature on Food & Astrology being published in The Australian Womens Weekly, read by 2.6 million women!Very exciting and that coincides with a new look for tomasgregory.com which carries the Aspen Times Daily Astrology. What is happening is that we are slowly coming out of a very tough year and things are in fact looking up for us all.Mind you I am not going all googoo eyed about it. Things are still rather grim in many ways.My current gripe is the attention from governments and media to all the tsunami matters, where the most minute development and sad story are covered in loving detail because 130,000 people died, and yet almost nothing of Iraq where the same number of people have been murdered during their liberation.Ah, history is told by the winners and there is nothing better for America than to focus on a natural calamity than on a political/military one of our own doing. However, at least Bush is telling jokes. Maybe after a sense of humor he will grow a heart. 2005 Tomas GregoryVisit tomasgregory.com for personal Daily Astrology and lots of other great stuff!
