Web poll: Should Snowmass Town Councilman Chris Jacobson stay or go?

This week’s Aspen Times Web poll asks readers about Snowmass Town Councilman Chris Jacobson’s legal plight.

Go to http://www.aspentimes.com, on the left side below the news carousel, to find this week’s question and the results of previous polls.

Last week’s question — “What do you think of the Aspen Institute’s Ideas Festival and Security Forum?” — drew 645 votes.

The top response, with 329 votes, or 51 percent, was “Aspen gets a lot of attention from these events, but the discussions rarely result in solutions or progress.”

Second, with 169 responses, or 26.2 percent, was “They’re exclusive and don’t do much for Aspen, but they bring in tourist dollars.”

The least popular option, “It’s great for Aspen and offers intelligent discussions about the world’s most pressing issues,” saw 147 responses, or 22.8 percent.
