Weapons stolen in Rifle burglaries

RIFLE, Colo. ” The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information to aid its investigation into the burglary of two homes in Rifle more than a week ago.

Sometime between Feb. 7 and Feb. 9, two residences in Rifle were burglarized. Fifteen weapons were stolen along with a laptop computer and other items. A vehicle was also stolen and later recovered in West Glenwood Springs, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Wednesday.

Garfield County Crime Stoppers is searching for information that will lead to prosecution of the suspects involved in the case. Tipsters can remain anonymous and earn up to $1,000 by leaving a message at 945-0101.
