Kudos to Colorado’s own Greek sophists: Steve Skadron, Torre, Junee Kirk and Judy Brown for their efforts at saving Aspen’s historical character by questioning the shameful Historic Preservation Committee decision concerning Little Annie’s. It is these efforts at community which create the wonderful place we all call home.

They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. … Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will.”
The Colorado Court of Appeals ruled Thursday that a limited-liability company has proper standing to sue the city of Aspen over its affordable-housing fees.
