Wasted effort in West End
Dear Editor:
I read in this morning’s paper that the city is mulling the idea of a 20-mph speed limit for part of the West End. How ridiculous. Without enforcement this will never work!
Motorists do not obey the speed limits and stop signs that currently exist. Speed bumps, dips and potholes might work, but without any enforcement more stop signs and speed restrictions will never work. Locals are the worst offenders. I see these violations happen every day at the corner of 6th and North.
