Walking for Lupus

On June 14, in more than 50 cities across America, thousands of people will be participating in the “Walk for Lupus Now,” the signature event of the Lupus Foundation of America Inc. (LFA).
LFA is the foremost national nonprofit voluntary health organization dedicated to finding the causes of and cure for Lupus, and providing support, services, and hope to all people affected by Lupus (visit http://www.lupus.org and click on “About the LFA.”).
My sisters and I have Lupus (the reason our team is “Team Kingsley”). On June 14, we will be participating in the Walk for Lupus Now in Denver to raise awareness of Lupus, an acute and chronic autoimmune disease which affects virtually every organ system in the body and affects more than 1.5 million Americans. We believe the fight against Lupus is more important than ever ” we recently reached the mile stone of 50 years without a drug approved by the FDA specifically for Lupus.
