Vote Martin Beeson

Dear Editor:

Martin Beeson, our current district attorney, is a man of substance and integrity. He takes his job seriously and understands the great responsibility we ask him to shoulder. Beeson is an honest, effective district attorney, and we are fortunate to have him represent us.

In contrast, his opponent in the race for district attorney, Sherry Caloia, is ill-suited for the job. I was surprised that Caloia had the temerity to ask Colorado voters to cast their ballots for her. My observations of Caloia have shown her to be officious, mean-spirited and of questionable competence for the important position she seeks.

If Caloia really needs a government job, I would suggest that she apply for assistant dog catcher, but that would be an insult to the dogs.
