Vote for Wampler
Dear Editor:Anyone who has met Michael Wampler knows he is remarkably passionate about Aspen, is not a fan of long-winded, carefully coached and worded, politically correct statements, and doesn’t hesitate to speak his mind and stand up for what he knows is right. What is not apparent about him until you get to know him beyond his scrappy exterior is that he is a very balanced, fair, intelligent and thoughtful individual. He is open-minded, sensible, caring, and you’ll find he’ll listen to you and work hard to represent what you want. He’s been here for 30 years, not five or 10, and he is committed to being in this town for the long run and raising his two boys to adulthood here. He decided to run for office in the 11th hour without political backers, fancy position papers, and the many months of preparation others may have had, because he wants what is best for you and for Aspen. He will make an excellent City Council member and provide important perspective and balance. Vote for Michael Wampler.Jae GregoryCarbondale
