Virginia ‘Ginny’ Vagneur-Jones

Longtime Woody Creek resident Virginia Vagneur-Jones died at her home, surrounded by friends and family, on Monday, Nov. 17.

She was 76 years old.

Vagneur-Jones was the Woody Creek postmaster for several decades. She and her husband, Lee, who preceded her in death, owned the Woody Creek Store and Trailer Park for several decades, before retiring to Cedaredge.



Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of the Cross in Cedaredge.
