Aspen, CO Colorado

EL JEBEL – The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office is advising people to lock their vehicles in the El Jebel area after a rash of vehicle trespasses this week in the Blue Lake subdivision.

Two juveniles were spotted rummaging through a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Rabbit Road at about 2 a.m. Thursday, the sheriff’s office said in a statement. Both suspects are described as males in their late teens.

Deputies recovered a red backpack filled with cameras and other miscellaneous items believed to be stolen from vehicles in the Blue Lake residential area. The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office would like to return all of the recovered property to their rightful owners. Anyone who believes their vehicle was broken into in the El Jebel area should call the sheriff’s office at 970-479-2200 to make a report.
