Veazy backs Roy

Well, let me and The Veazy Group give a round of applause to Pitkin County Commissioner Shellie Roy after reading “Pitco bans dense housing in county’s outlying areas.” (Aspen Times, Dec. 11).

Glad you can stand on your own, Pitco Commissioner Roy, because perhaps your fellow county commissioners don’t know all those big houses built in the county can sure house many more people than they want.

Another simultaneous multiple statewide and/or nationwide economic crunch will turn those big expensive houses into boarding houses. Hee! Hee! Hee! Then the proletariat will have their affordable housing and fulfill their dreams of living large without applying wealth-building principles to afford to buy houses in Aspen proper. Hee! Hee! Hee!
