Valley Perspectives exhibit to open

Aspen Times Staff Report

Carbondale gallery Nature’s Design and COMPASS will present Valley Perspectives, a benefit exhibit that will feature an unusual collection of works by local artists.

The show will open Friday with a reception from 5 to 9 p.m. at Nature’s Design, located off Highway 133 next to Norwest Bank.

Among the exhibit’s highlights will be a variety of products created by COMPASS/Cooperative, including 30 newly printed black-and-white photographs by COMPASS Executive Director George Stranahan. A portion of the proceeds will go to the COMPASS Community Schools.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
