VAIL, Colo. ” The case against a woman charged with threatening a Vail chairlift operator with an ice pick was dismissed this week.

Elena Adams, 45, of New York was charged with misdemeanor menacing after the Dec. 27 incident at the top of the Vista Bahn involving lift operator Brock Glover, 23.

The case was dismissed in court Tuesday after Glover said he didn’t want to proceed with the case, District Attorney Mark Hurlbert said.

Police said Adams was trying to download on the Vista Bahn from the wrong side. She then fell and threatened Glover with a nearby ice pick, police said.

Adams denied that she threatened the liftie.
