Update from Aspen Club

Dear Editor:

As we move into summer, the team at The Aspen Club has been working hard over the past few months to put together a team for our unique redevelopment project. As many of you know, we have partnered with Auberge Resorts and COO, Eric Calderon, to help manage the Residences at The Aspen Club. Auberge brings a wealth of expertise in both resort development and property management. The values and integrity of Auberge and Mark Harmon, Auberge’s CEO, are a good fit with ours. They understand what is so special about this town, augment the skills and talents of our team and bring proven hospitality management experience to The Aspen Club.

We continue to work with Poss Architects to finalize the design of the residences and the upgraded Aspen Club. We have signed up Greg Mozian of Greg Mozian and Associates Inc. to manage our landscape design and Jack Donovan of Steeplechase Partners to oversee all aspects of our construction. We have also enlisted RJ Gallagher of Forte International to assist with the Sales and Marketing aspect of the Residences. There are quite a few more pieces we are looking to add over the next few months and so far, I am thrilled about the team we are assembling.

We are now in the process of finalizing the schematic design of The Aspen Club remodel and design of the Residences. Personally, it is an exciting part of the process. It is fun to see the team let loose creative ideas for the future of The Aspen Club. I have been collecting input from the extended Aspen Club Family so please, keep it coming. I am looking forward to the completed plans and to watching this project come to life.

Regarding The Aspen Club specifically, we are looking to upgrade the Club in numerous ways. At this stage of the process, a lot of ideas are on the table and we will not be finalizing our plans for quite a few months.

As we look into the future, we have a lot of work ahead of us. We are very aggressively and optimistically shooting to break ground on the project 12 to 18 months from now, which assumes all of these of pieces fall into place in a timely manner. We will continue to add details and hone in on the specific timing of the project over the coming months.

Thank you for your continued support of The Aspen Club as we move forward with our exciting future.
