United Express boosts flights

Aspen Times Staff Report

United Express, which has come under fire recently for poor customer service in Aspen, has added flights for the upcoming Presidents’ Day weekend and every weekend in March.

The added service will enhance an already boosted flight schedule for the busy weekends, according to Air Wisconsin, which operates United Express for United Airlines.

According to a press release issued Friday, United Express will offer an extra evening connection from Denver to Aspen on Feb. 12 and 13, and on each Friday and Saturday in March. The flight is scheduled to leave Denver at 7:50 p.m. and arrive in Aspen at 8:30 p.m.

An additional flight, leaving Aspen at 7:15 a.m. and arriving in Denver at 7:55 p.m., will be offered on Feb. 13 and 14 and on every Saturday and Sunday in March.

Presidents’ Day is Feb. 15.
