Two Rivers road work begins Tuesday in Basalt

Road work begins Tuesday on Two Rivers Road near Homestead Drive in Basalt, according to a Pitkin Alert. Traffic will be limited to a single lane during construction.

The project is part of ongoing efforts to stabilize the hillside and rock formations above the roadway, stemming from the Lake Christine Wildlife Area. Work is expected to continue for over a month.
