Dear Editor:Two comments. First, the petition currently being circulated is not for Burlingame or against Burlingame, nor is it anti-affordable housing, as George Burson writes. As one of the circulators of the referendum petition asking for signatures, we are asking voters to put the question on the ballot so voters have a choice to vote yes or no for the annexation of the land for the Zolines’ private development project and the city’s Burlingame affordable housing project.Second, the Aspen School Board, during its regular meeting this coming Monday, March 14, at 5 p.m., will discuss the impacts of the proposed Burlingame affordable housing project on the school system. Public comments, questions and concerns will be taken.Toni KronbergAspen
