Two Browns helped create Aspen
The Brown Family was most influential in setting the course of Aspen’s history. D.R.C. Brown Sr. and D.R.C. Brown Jr. (“Darcy”) were giants of their times.
Aspen has been singularly blessed by the presence these two great men over the course of our 128-year history.
Aspen owes a debt of gratitude to both these fine gentlemen of commerce and culture, in shaping the course of Aspen’s illustrious mining and skiing history. Their influence will never be forgotten.
Aspen shall always remember them with gratitude and affection for their contributions to the history of Aspen.
The Buddy Program rang in the holiday spirit with their annual Gingerbread House Workshops in Aspen and Carbondale.
