ASPEN – Lance Armstrong can finally call himself a local – or at least one by naturalization.

Anna Hansen, the girlfriend of the seven-time Tour de France winner, gave birth to the couple’s baby boy late Thursday night at Aspen Valley Hospital.

Armstrong announced the birth Friday on Twitter.

“Wassup, world? My name is Max Armstrong and I just arrived,” the older Armstrong, who has a home in Aspen, posted on his Twitter site. “My Mommy is healthy and so am I!”

Dr. Natasha Knight, an Aspen-based OBGYN, delivered the fourth child of the cycling champ. He has three children from a previous marriage.

Armstrong spent the weekend following the birth riding to Ashcroft and the Maroon Bells, and visiting the Woody Creek Tavern.
