Turnbull and Lamb for Holy Cross

Dear Editor:

I served on the Holy Cross board of directors for 20 years, having retired several years ago. During that time I had the pleasure of serving with Tom Turnbull.

I understand the importance of the board in overseeing Holy Cross Energy’s operations, including reliability, holding costs at a reasonable level, quick response to outages, and placing of power lines as unobtrusively as possible. There is a rather steep learning curve involved in being a productive board member.

Tom Turnbull has served on the board for many years and is a true leader with the board. Tom has utilized his Princeton University degree as well as his longtime ranching experience in Carbondale to the benefit of all members and clients of Holy Cross Energy. Tom has great respect for the environment and has worked with the Holy Cross board to increase the amount of green energy available while maintaining rates at a reasonable level.

Please cast your vote for Tom Turnbull and George Lamb, for whom I also have a high regard. You may vote either by mail or at the annual meeting today.
