Tunnel-visioned Dems
Dear Editor:
While visiting Aspen recently and reading letters to the editor concerning the colossal waste of money spent by supporters of the Republican Party, it struck me how typical this thinking is of many supporters of the Democratic platform: There is no truth but their truth, and there are no facts but their facts.
Suppose the writers have done a tally as to how much was spent by supporters of the Democratic Party in the recent election that could have been spent on storm victims and global warming. Possibly I missed that tally in previous or subsequent letters to the editor.
Many Americans of both parties will welcome the ideas of these letter writers as to the path Americans must take to create jobs and foster an environment of prosperity other than taxing the wealthy and adding regulation to business.

The town of Snowmass Village has its eyes on some safety improvements on Highline Road and a section of Brush Creek Road that will give pedestrians and cyclists a little more room to breathe on the side of the road.
