Dear Editor:I would encourage everyone to vote on Nov. 7 for Jim True for Pitkin County commissioner.Pitkin County is fortunate to have someone of Jim’s qualifications and background running for county commissioner. When I moved to Aspen six years ago, Jim and his two wonderful children were one of the first families I met. Since that time I have observed his unwavering commitment to his family, this community and his profession. He is respected in the legal community, is known as a reasonable attorney and is considered a problem solver. With his engineering degree, I see an ability to look at a problem, analyze it and provide a thoughtful, well-considered resolution. Anyone can look at his resume and see that he is dedicated to the issues that are important to everyone in this community: transportation, housing, environment, open space. Jim True has a proven track record of accomplishing the goals that he sets out to accomplish, goals that protect and preserve the quality of life in Pitkin County that we have all come to cherish. Please vote for Jim True, Nov. 7.Elaine GersonAspen
