Trolleys coming back? |

Trolleys coming back?

Dear Editor:What a surprise! There it was on the front page (The Aspen Times, Monday, April 16) – the newly proposed (resurrected actually) ski museum at the old Number One lift illustrated in full color. Prominently in the foreground was an old-fashioned trolley. It looked just like the ones Aspen gave away to the likes of Wanganui, New Zealand.Yes, one of the proposals would have had the Galena Street trolley shuttle go to the ski museum. The antique trolleys, over 100 years old, are all gone now, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see antique copies running around town in the future.Jon BuschAspen
