Trees, not pavement
Dear Editor:The Times brings another Jeffrey Evans letter today (Letters to the Editor, Dec. 13): Just what Aspen needs, a person who doesn’t live here, but is an expert in how Aspen ought to have its roads. Has he already perfected Marble or Basalt? One sees people who love skiing, shopping, drugs, wars, etc., but Jeffrey seems to have an addiction to freeways. Maybe it is an antagonism toward open space and a belief that it would all look better as pavement.I’ve lived where there are trees and where there are freeways. Trees are better.Bill GreenwoodAspen
