Trees " heard of them?

Dear Editor:

Sorry to rain on your parade, but those amazing carbon dioxide remover machines you documented in your Wednesday Discovery section have already been around for quite some time. I see no reason to try to improve upon the current version. They are installed on almost every continent in great numbers and cost almost nothing to build or maintain. These wonder machines are constructed of completely organic materials and are solar powered. They also store the CO2 they capture elegantly in a form that has many uses, from building materials to producing electricity.

I bet you are dying to know what these amazing inventions are so that you may get one for yourself to help save the world, am I right? Well, guess what, you have known about them your whole life (hopefully). They are called trees!
