Eagle County’s review of Tree Farm project rescheduled for June 1

The Eagle County commissioners’ review of the Tree Farm project in El Jebel was postponed Monday at the applicant’s request.
The county commissioners rescheduled the meeting for 5 p.m. June 1 in El Jebel.
The development team for landowner Ace Lane and his Woody Ventures LLC made the request to table the meeting late Friday in an email to the county.
The email said, “We feel that there are still several loose ends that need to be addressed. We had hoped to have all materials to the board (Friday) in order to give them adequate time for review prior to the hearing, but that is not possible. Out of respect for everyone’s time, we believe it is prudent to table at this point.”
The Tree Farm proposal is for 340 residences and 135,000 square feet of commercial space, including a hotel. The land is on the north side of Highway 82, across the road from Whole Foods Market.
The commissioners also created a time for continued review of the project June 26, if needed.
