Treatment was professional

Dear Editor:This past December I was cat skiing and became very dizzy and weak. The crew reacted in a very professional manner and helped me get to the Sundeck ski patrol, where I received the most polite and professional treatment you can imagine. This was also true of the ambulance crew; a terrific job that we all have come to recognize and appreciate. Dr. Morris Cohen, his most-able assistant, Rita, and the staff at Aspen Valley Hospital took it from there and gave me a “world-class” workup. Fast-forward to the Mayo Clinic: My physician, Dr. Thomas Bugliosi, ordered a report of this incident from the Aspen Valley Hospital and received it within minutes via fax. Upon review, Dr. Bugliosi commented to me that he was very impressed with the work performed in Aspen, and felt confident I could not have received better care at the Mayo Clinic. After all the controversy over the years about our hospital, I would say “the work in process” is working!John Calcott Aspen
