Trashing seniors in bad taste

Dear Editor:

I have to ask you, as editor of The Aspen Times, how you can allow the garbage created by Paul Andersen to be published in your paper? His article on the “Golden Years” is in such bad taste and is so inconsiderate, it is in a whole new category of trash.

This article attempts to categorize seniors who enjoy travel as evil, carbon-burning, earth-warming demons. What’s the matter, Paul, is your mom taking a cruise? Blowing your inheritance?

For all you seniors out there who are traveling this year, I hope to see you in France or Italy or some other great place, and we can laugh at Mr. Andersen. Am I being harsh?? Ya!
