Toy drive ramping up in Roaring Fork Valley
ASPEN – The Shining Stars Foundation will be seeking toy donations for its annual drive, which runs Nov. 19 through Dec. 12.
Toy donations to the foundation benefit children with cancer or those with life-threatening disease as well as their families.
Drop-off locations are Aspen Elks Lodge No. 224, the Eagles Club and all of the U.S. Bank locations in Aspen, El Jebel and Glenwood Springs. The students at Aspen High School and Aspen Middle School are helping out and will have drop-offs at each school for the students.

World Cup downhill racing returning to Aspen Mountain in March 2023
U.S. Ski & Snowboard on Tuesday made the official announcement that World Cup Alpine skiing is returning to Aspen Mountain in March with men’s super-G and downhill racing, part of a revamped schedule by the International Ski Federation for the 2022-23 season.
