Tourney to help Aspen Jr. Golf

The High County Shootout, an annual benefit for Aspen Junior Golf, is on the golfing calendar for Sunday and Monday.

The annual benefit features PGA standouts Billy Horschel and Chris DiMarco.

The two will combine forces for a special PGA Tour Golf Clinic, free and open to the public, on Monday morning at the Aspen Golf Club.

The free demonstration and long-drive competition is set for 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday on the driving range at the local municipal golf course.

The focus of the weekend is the annual High Counry Shootout tournament, starting at 11 a.m. Sunday.

A dinner with the PGA pros and guests is set for Sunday evening at the Aspen Elks Club (6-9 p.m.).

The tournament and the clinic with Horschel and DeMarco follow on Sunday.
