Tour seeks input

Dear Editor:

Many thanks to everyone who helped Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers to make the second annual Town to Town Tour a success!

First and foremost, thanks to the more than 300 nordic enthusiasts who skied and snowshoed the Rio Grande Trail from Aspen to Basalt and the 50 volunteers who made the event happen. We would also like to thank all our sponsors and donors including: Alpine Bank, Harry Teague Architects, Bighorn Toyota, Pitkin County Open Space and Trails, Orthopedic Associates of Aspen and Glenwood, Joe McGuire Design, Aspen Constructors, The Aspen Times, Bethel Party Rentals, KSPN and many, many others.

RFOV learned quite a lot from last year’s event, and hope everyone agrees that this year’s event was even better than last. Please give us your comments on our website or email us at so we can continue to improve the event.

We hope to see you all and your friends for the third annual Tour next year … economy willing. Thank you everyone for a spectacular day on the Rio Grande Trail!
