Tough day on the roads

A two-vehicle crash at Highway 82's intersection with Willits Lane and Two Rivers Road snarled traffic at about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday. Both downvalley lanes were closed. Motorists used backroads to try to get around the jam until the highway opened about 30 minutes later. Other minor accidents caused traffic delays further upvalley at around 5 p.m.
